Our History

Hemlock Farms Conservancy was conceptualized in 2009 by a group of HFCA staff and community members. These individuals sought to bring environmental education and conservation to the greater Pike County, PA area. Their efforts resulted in an active volunteer group that works hard to conserve and sustain the beloved forested ecosystem to this day.
Hemlock Farms Conservancy is a section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Our Mission
As stewards of the close relationship between people and the environment, Hemlock Farms Conservancy seeks to conserve, protect, and sustain our forested natural resources. We accomplish this through education, funding, and support of projects in Hemlock Farms and the greater Pike County area.
